The space for the sunshade line by Perfection Architectural Systems was increased to a 10,000 sq. ft. mezzanine area due to the increasing demand of this product line. As a result, the move has created space in the main production area, increasing production capacity in the aluminum walkway cover product line.
Perfection Architectural Systems’ sunshade line is mostly utilized to:

Perfection Architectural Systems (www.perfectionarch.com), a leader in engineered canopy solutions, is pleased to be attending and exhibiting at the Florida Educational Facilities Planners’ Association Conference 2011 in Boca Raton, Florida on July 5-8, 2011.
The Florida Educational Facilities Planners’ Association (FEFPA) has asked Perfection Architectural Systems to attend the annual conference to inform guests of the benefits of investing in long-term canopy solutions in their school district. With focus on aluminum walkway covers, canopies, pavilions, and sunshades, by the end of the conference, the guests will be fully educated on the importance of a well-engineered canopy.
The purpose of the FEFPA Conference 2011, according to fefpa.org is the following:
- To establish a means of exchanging ideas.
- To stabilize written communication between educational facilities planners throughout Florida.
- To stimulate professional growth.
- To promote research of new construction, new material, and new equipment.
- To promote creativeness in planning and constructing educational facilities.
- To encourage the exchange of ideas between educators and facility planners in achieving a quality education construction program.
- To encourage membership by public school district, community college, and university planners, architects, engineers, product vendors and manufacturers, and other interested parties, through the effectiveness of an active organization.
- To provide assistance to the Department of Education and the Florida Legislature.

Perfection Architectural Systems (www.perfectionarch.com), a leader in engineered canopy solutions, is pleased to have contracted with Wharton-Smith, Inc. to complete Oak Ridge High’s extensive replacement school and campus expansion project in Orlando, FL.
The School Board of Orange County has approved a $75 million budget for the project. The project includes a new administration building, media center, gymnasium, auditorium, music suite, and a cafeteria .This is a new facility that features three new three-story classroom buildings with extensive aluminum walkway covers connecting all building on campus. The components have been designed to accommodate current and future student enrollment.
This project was unique to Perfection Architectural Systems due to the 55,000 square foot of various walkway cover styles and designs, including pitched walkway covers, flat walkway covers, suspended canopies, dining areas, and stairway canopies. The project scope for Perfection Architectural Systems is close to ten times the size of an industry average project. “The opportunity to work with Wharton-Smith, Inc. and Orange County is tremendous,” says Rob Jones, Business Development Manager for Perfection Architectural Systems. “We are looking forward to it and will strive to ensure the project goes flawlessly”.
“This will be a sustainable, quality new high school with natural daylight for all classrooms, along with other green building enhancements and energy-efficient features,” said Chief Facilities Officer of the School Board of Orange County, Bob Proie.
The entire project’s projection for completion is December 2012. “There is nothing more exciting than building a new school in a well-established community,” said Superintendent of schools Ronald Blocker. “Our innovative capital program, which uses sales tax revenues and other sources, provides the district with the financial muscle to build these projects.”

The new Quick Ship Program is specific to suspended canopies and hanger rod canopies. Using pre-engineered extruded aluminum with stainless steel hardware, the quick ship suspended canopy systems are packaged and ready to ship in 3 to 5 business days. Even using this expedited process, Perfection Architectural ensures projects will be just as aesthetically pleasing, architecturally sound, and weather enduring as a typical project. Quick Ship canopies are available in the following sizes.

All of the quick ship canopies come standard with mounting hardware for a block or tilt wall host structure, clear satin anodized finish, 7” fascia gutter, 6”soffit deck and 2”x2” support struts. Canopies can also be easily mounted side by side to make a longer, continuous canopy.
